“I found Perry through Frizzles Salon where I get my hair done. He did my hair along with my entire wedding party. Thanks to Perry we all looked fabulous! Our makeup stayed put all night. All of us had extensions or hair pieces in of some kind and he blended them perfectly with our hair. I was going went a long wavy/curly bohemian look with flower crowns. He created a cohesive look among us with each girl having her own personal style. It was amazing. When my husband and I got back to our room at 4am he looked at me and told me that my hair and makeup was still flawless that it was unbelievable. I know he is biased but it was still wonderful to hear. I would 100% work with Perry again. “Perry is a dream come true! Everything from the booking to my wedding day went so perfectly, I couldn’t have asked for more. Setting up the trial was easy and we had so much fun. He listened to what I was looking for and glammed me up so well for the trial that I made my (now husband) take me out. He was in touch constantly up to the wedding day with tips and encouragement. He really gets 5-stars for my wedding day though…. I had a brunch wedding (10am ceremony), meaning everyone needed to be up really early. He stayed in the hotel the night before and was up at 2:30am heating up rollers. He called me at 3:45am to make sure I was up and was at my room at 4am bright eyed and ready to go. He finished 4 full hair and makeups by 8am and we were out the door on time. If that isn’t an A+, I don’t know what is. My and my bridesmaids makeup and hair held up for the 12 hour day with no problems. He even followed up after the wedding to make sure everything went OK. Ladies, do not pass this guy up. “My four daughters and I came up from North Carolina for a wedding in Northern Virginia and decided to have our hair and makeup done as a fun treat. I was concerned to hire someone I didn’t know but after reading many reviews I decided to give Perry a try and he did not disappoint! Perry worked us in at the last minute, arranged for me to meet him at his studio before the wedding, and then came to our hotel the day of the wedding with everything he needed to do all of our hair and makeup. Perry sent his pricing structure in advance and it was very detailed and clear so there were no surprises-no deposit required! The day was horribly hot and humid yet my hair and makeup remained flawless the entire day. Best of all were all of the comments my daughters and I received on Facebook. “I chose Perry from a combination of other great reviews on the Knot and other sites, and very reasonable cost compared to other stylists in this area. It was a great choice. Perry was a pleasure to work with, at my consultation and hair/makeup trials, and on my wedding day. Heis friendly, personable, and good at what he does. I asked for an Old Hollywood type look to go with my non-traditional “red carpet” blue beaded dress. He gave me lovely shaped waves and a nice makeup look that enhanced my features without being too much. I looked great and my groom loved my hair. In addition to my hair and makeup, Perry styled hair for one of my bridesmaids. She knew exactly what she wanted and he had it done in minutes; she was delighted. He was fun to have around and all the women hanging out in the bridal suite with us joked around with him and had a great time. He helped a couple of women with a few makeup issues they were having as well, no extra charge. Perry got me ready for photos and I thought he’d be leaving then, but he hung around until after photos and then helped me get cooled down (on a very hot day) and touched up again for the ceremony.
